Callum Cameron BVM&S MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - DIRECTOR
After graduating from Edinburgh in 1995 Callum began working in the practice first as an assistant then a partner. Callum has particular interest in equine and farm animal aspects of veterinary medicine in particular Herd health planning. He participates in golf and curling, as well as having his own flock of sheep.
Gareth Boyes BVMS DBR MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - DIRECTOR
Gareth joined the practice as a graduate from Glasgow in 1998. A partner in the business, his specialisms are in farm animal medicine and surgery in particular bovine reproduction and all aspeccts of deer work. Gareth obtained his Diploma in Bovine Reproduction in 2009. He enjoys his deer farm, country pursuits and spending time with his family.
Hazel Halliday BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - DIRECTOR
After working in a mixed practice in the North of England for three years, Hazel began work here in 2003. Although her particular interest is in small animal medicine and surgery she maintains a strong involvement in farm animal and equine work. Hazel is an approved tutor for veterinary nurses. She is currently working towards a certificate in small animal medicine.
Andrew Miller BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - Consultant
After working in Northumberland for a few years Andrew joined the practice in the late seventies. Although involved in all aspects of Veterinary medicine his specialisms and expertise are in equine medicine and surgery. Outside of work he is a keen golfer.
Iain Dick BVM&S MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - DIRECTOr
Iain has been a key member of the practice since 2005. He comes from an agricultural background in Peebles where his family have farmed for years. Having worked in all areas within the practice he now concentrates mainly on the farm animal side.
Colin Rodger BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - DIRECTOR
After Colin qualified from Glasgow he worked at the Willows practice in Cheshire for 3 years doing farm work. He came to us with a lot of large animal experience and has a particular passion for bovine fertility.
John Alexander BVM&S MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - DIRECTOR
John returned to the practice in September 2021 having spent sometime travelling. He is from a small farm in NE Antrim with Pedigree Beef Shorthorns. He is halfway through a diploma in bovine reproduction and in his spare time he is a keen golfer.
Stuart Hills BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
This is Stuart’s local area. Stuart has mixed practice experience, with a specialism in small animal orthopaedics. Stuart has many varied interests which include vegetable growing and curling.
Evie Pates BVMS MRCVS

Evie Joined us in August 2018 after graduating from Glasgow University in 2017 she worked in a mixed practice in Ayrshire before joining Ark Vet Centre to follow her interests in all aspects of equine work.
Lyndsey Johnston BVMS MRCVS

Lyndsey graduated from Edinburgh in 2002 and has been with Ark Vet Centre siince 2015. When Lyndsey isn’t working hard at the surgery she enjoys spending time with her young family and horse riding.
Kay Hills BVM&S MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Kay graduated from Edinburgh in 2001. She started work in mixed practice but now solely works in small animal practice with an interest in internal medicine and acupuncture.
Joanna Dick BVM&S MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Jo followed Iain here in 2007 and has become an integral part of the team. She has a medical background in the family although chose to work with the patients that can not answer back! Her interests lie in the small animal side of the practice.
Eugenie Moxon DRVetMed MRCVS

Eugenie is from Uist and graduated from Budapest Vet School, she joins us from a practice in West Cumbria. Outside of work you will find her hiking, cycling and playing the fiddle.
Chloe Dunlop BVMS MRCVS

Chloe joined us in August 2021 after working through in the East Coast in general practice graduating from Glasgow University.
John Hamilton BVMS MRCVS
VETERINARY SURGEON
John graduated from Glasgow University in 2019. He comes from a beef and sheep farm near Darvel, Ayrshire. He is particularly interested in dairy fertility, beef management and pathology. Away from work he enjoys working at home on the family farm, getting involved in young farmers and playing rugby and football

Ciara joined the team this summer after graduating from Edinburgh Vet School. Originally from Aberdeen she is enjoying all that the local countryside has to offer.
Allyson Ross BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Allyson is keen to get involved in all aspects of veterinary medicine but especially interested in equine work. Away from work she enjoys running, cycling, horse riding and spending time with her bearded collie Rosie.
Catriona Connon MVDr CertAVP MRCVS

Since graduating in 2016, Catriona had been working in a mixed practice in Cupar, Fife but hailing from Dumfries she moved back home to join Ark Vet Centre in January 2020. You will see her mostly working within the small animal team. Outside of work she enjoys walking the hills with her two vizslas.
Gemma Casey BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Gemma graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2014. After graduating she worked near the Cotswolds for a couple of years, before deciding to locum around Scotland & Northern Ireland. In 2019 she took a year out to travel, which latterly included working as a vet in Australia & New Zealand. Gemma joined the small animal team here in September 2021. She is currently working towards a post-graduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine with the University of Liverpool.
Mary Holmes BVMS MRCVS

Mary joined us in July 2022 after graduating from Glasgow Vet school. She is originally from Duns in the Scottish Borders. In her spare time she enjoys exploring new walks with her dog Moose and she is a keen bagpipe player and is hoping to join one of the local bands

Peter joined us this summer after graduating from Cambridge vet school. Outside of work he enjoys socialising and country pursuits.
Lorraine Smith DVM

Lorraine joined us in November, originally from Ireland and completed her veterinary degree in Poland. Outside of work she loves to walk with her two dogs and to keep fit at the gym.
