Fertility

Herd fertility is intrinsically related to production and therefore performance. Poor fertility results in increased calving index and culling rate, loss of calving pattern, reduced genetic progress and fewer calves to sell.

At the Ark Veterinary Centre we offer routine pregnancy diagnosis either manually or by ultrasound scanner. Also we are prepared to carry out fertility investigations and consultations as required where difficulties exist.
